With less than a week to go until the U.S. presidential election, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are making their final pitches to voters, with both appearing in the battleground state of North Carolina on Wednesday.

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden appears to have called Trump supporters “trash” in response to comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s already infamous joke about Puerto Rico at Madison Square Garden. He is being forced to respond to the fact that he inadvertently created a storm in the conservative media.

Harris told reporters Wednesday that she “strongly” opposes any public criticism based on voting intent.

Trump also addressed the president’s comments at a rally in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

“Last night, Joe Biden finally said what he and Kamala really think about our supporters,” he said. “He called them trash, and they meant it…even though my supporters are, without a doubt, of much higher quality than Crooked Joe or Lyin Kamara. .”

He added, “My response to Joe and Kamra is very simple: You can’t lead America if you don’t love the American people. You can’t do that.”

On Tuesday, Harris delivered her “closing argument” in Washington, D.C., speaking at the very same spot where Trump told his supporters to “fight like hell” on January 6, 2021.

The former president said his fans are “much higher quality” than his Democratic fans.
