Actress Shilpa Shetty keeps looking so amazing thanks to her successful balance of health, fitness, diet and rest.

Shilpa Shetty Fitness and Health: Shilpa Shetty maintains a healthy and toned figure at 49, thanks to her dedicated exercise routine. The actress’ fitness and health regimen includes regular Ashtanga and Iyengar yoga, a balanced diet, regular cardio, strength training, a mix of Pilates, meditation and deep breathing exercises, 7-8 hours of sleep, staying hydrated, relaxation through self-care and of course, loving herself. Not only does she love doing all this, she also enjoys sharing her routine with her fans and followers on social media, where she is quite active.
The actress occasionally releases videos in which she talks about the importance of health and how physical fitness plays a big role in one’s wellbeing. According to her, to stay ill, one needs to adopt a holistic approach that focuses on nourishing the body, mind, and soul.
Recently, Shetty shared another video on Instagram where she shared some valuable wisdom on what it means to have a healthy body. “Discipline is the ultimate motivation. Maintaining that discipline consistently is the key that unlocks the door to excellence,” she wrote in the caption of the video. Check it out here.
The mother of two was spotted sharing her knowledge with the world as she worked out. “What is health? It’s the relationship you have with your body,” she said while working out at the gym. She added that health is about finding that “sweet spot.” “It’s the balance between how much you eat and how much you exercise.”
Performing slow leg exercises and balancing moves, including bending her elbows and stacking her arms, Shetty urged her followers to nourish their bodies with healthy foods rather than dieting.
She also recommends developing healthy habits instead of restricting yourself. Many people tend to follow strict dietary restrictions that prevent them from eating certain foods. Everything should be consumed in moderation, but if you can develop healthy habits, such as exercising daily, you can eat all kinds of foods.
In the video, Shetty shows off the strength of her legs by lifting weights on her feet.
“Eat mindfully,” she said, urging people to eat mindfully and without distractions.
Finally, she said her mantra is “discipline over motivation.” “Your health is in your hands. Don’t just wish for it. Work for it.” I often have to push myself to exercise even when I don’t feel like it. It doesn’t have to be an intense routine, just moving.
