Relocating from Florida to Virginia, Jason Guidi interviewed for and was hired for a Sales Representative position at Ashby Ponds, an Erickson Senior Living Community in Ashburn, Virginia. “I was looking for a sales position, but I knew I had to find a job that would let me have confidence in my product,” says Jason. “It had to be something tangible and valuable. At the same time, I wanted to work as part of a team with a good culture.”
Jason’s girlfriend, Isobel Lissing, played a key role in directing Jason to Ashby Ponds: Before the couple moved to Virginia, she worked at the Devonshire, an Erickson Senior Living Community in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
“Isabelle loved coming to work every day. She loved her team and appreciated the culture at Erickson Senior Living,” says Jason. “When we moved to Virginia, her Erickson team helped her relocate to Woodley Chase, an Erickson Senior Living community in Fairfax. She also learned about a sales associate position at Ashby Ponds and knew it would be a great fit for me.”

“We hit it off immediately,” says Jason. “Throughout the interview and hiring process, I was reminded of the positive culture I had heard about – everyone really cares and makes an effort to treat you well.”
Twelve months after arriving at Ashby Ponds, Jason has realised his career is more than just a job, offering him the opportunity and support to achieve his professional goals.
