Bayer Leverkusen vs Wolfsburg predicted XI
Bayer Leverkusen return to Bundesliga action today against Wolfsburg after a commanding 4-0 win over Feyenoord in the Champions League on Thursday night.
Xabi Alonso will field a full squad for this match, while Werksel is likely to field the same line-up as against Rotterdam as he looks to maintain his momentum in the Bundesliga after last weekend’s 4-1 win over Hoffenheim.
However, with six games between September 14 and October 5, Alonso is expected to feature in the rotation, albeit at a minimal level, this weekend.
Nordi Mukiele, on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, played four minutes in last weekend’s win over Hoffenheim and could start in place of Piero Incapié, with Edmond Tapsoba coming in on the left of a back three.
In attack, Martin Thérier, who has yet to score in the league, will be rested and Amin Adli could start in place of the Frenchman, while Victor Boniface, who has contributed three goals (two goals, one assist) in three Bundesliga games this season, is likely to retain his place in the starting line-up in place of Patrick Schick.
Bayer Leverkusen vs Wolfsburg predicted XI
