For equity portfolios, relative contribution compares the performance of the securities in the portfolio to the total return of the benchmark and takes into account the difference in weighting of that security in the benchmark. Returns are calculated using daily returns and weightings of the prior day’s closing price rolled up by ticker, are net of advisory fees, may exclude certain derivatives, and are not indicative of actual performance.

Investing involves risks, including loss of principal and fluctuation in value.
Foreign securities are subject to additional risks, including currency fluctuations, political and economic uncertainty, increased volatility, reduced liquidity and differences in financial and information reporting standards, all of which are magnified in emerging markets.
Growth stocks are subject to a higher risk of loss and price volatility and may not realize their expected growth potential.
Actively managed investment portfolios involve the risk that the investment strategy and research process employed will not produce the intended results and therefore the portfolio may underperform the benchmark index or other investments with similar investment objectives.
