The first two of four Monday Night Football games this season will kick off. The first kicks off with the 2-0 Buffalo Bills taking on the 0-2 Jacksonville Jaguars (7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN), while the second game sees the 1-1 Washington Commanders travel to Cincinnati to take on the 0-2 Bengals (8:15 p.m. ET on ABC).
The Bills have been one of the league’s highest scoring teams through two weeks, scoring 34 points in Week 1 and 31 points in Week 2. Josh Allen has also been the maestro of Buffalo’s offense, completing nearly 74% of his passes without an interception. Jacksonville’s Trevor Lawrence hasn’t had a great start to the season, completing just 51% of his passes through two weeks.
In Cincinnati, the Bengals are accustomed to slow starts, having started 0-2 five times in the past six seasons, and coach Joe Burrow will be looking to bounce back after a close loss at Kansas City last week, while Washington is coming off its first win of the Jayden Daniels era against the New York Giants in Week 2.
Weeks 4, 7 and 15 will feature two Monday Night Football games.
