Two star quarterbacks will be available for Sunday’s game. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is nursing a sprained ankle, while Packers point guard Jordan Love is recovering quickly from a knee injury and is likely to be available for Sunday’s game.
While Herbert and Love are the highlights, there are plenty of other notable injuries. Here’s each team’s final injury report for Week 3 and analysis of what those injuries mean for Sunday.
All NFL odds are based on SportsLine consensus.
Giants: CB Nick McCloud (knee) out; OLB Brian Burns (groin) and ILB Darius Muasau (knee) questionable
Browns: TE David Njoku (ankle), RB Pierre Strong Jr. (hamstring) out; OT Jack Conklin (knee), OT Jedrick Wills (knee) questionable
Giants pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeau (shoulder) is not on injured reserve for Sunday’s game after being placed on injured reserve this week. For the Browns, Wills was limited in practice this week and Conklin was limited after not being placed on injured reserve the previous two days. Fortunately for the Browns, they have a very capable backup tackle in fourth-year veteran James Hudson III, who started the team’s first two games.
Packers: OT Jordan Morgan (shoulder) out, DB Carrington Valentine (ankle) questionable, QB Jordan Love (knee) questionable
Titans: RB Tyjay Spears (ankle) questionable
Love, originally scheduled to miss at least two weeks, could potentially play just one game if he plays Sunday. Love was limited throughout practice this week after missing last Sunday’s win over the Colts. Love’s availability will be determined on game day, but Malik Willis (who made 12 of 14 shots in last week’s win) is open to playing against his former team if Love is unavailable.
It’s a good sign for the Titans as Spears was a full participant in practice on Friday.
Bears: WR Keenan Allen (heel, personal), FB Khari Blassingame (hand/knee), DL Zach Pickens (groin), RB Travis Homer (finger) out; OL Nate Davis (groin) questionable
Colts: None
With Allen still sidelined, more targets will be given to rookie Rome Odunze, who was targeted just once in the Bears’ first two games. Davis played a full game on Friday and seems likely to play Sunday.
Texans: RB Damion Pierce (hamstring), RB Joe Mixon (ankle) out; C Jaret Patterson (calf), C Juice Scruggs (groin) and S MJ Stewart (knee) questionable.
Vikings: WR Jordan Addison (ankle), OLB Dallas Turner (knee) and LB Ivan Pace Jr. (quadriceps) are out.
Mixon did not practice this week, so Cam Akers and Dare Ogunbowale will get the carries for Houston. Patterson did not practice Friday, while Scruggs was limited the past two days.
Addison’s absence will be a blow, but the Vikings have Justin Jefferson (quadriceps) in full participation in Friday’s practice, so Jalen Naylor is likely to get more targets in Addison’s absence.
Eagles: WR AJ Brown (hamstring) out; CB CJ Gardner-Johnson (foot) questionable
Saints: DT Kalen Sanders (calf) out, TE Taysom Hill (chest) questionable, LB DeMarco Jackson (calf), T Landon Young (foot), S Will Harris (shin), WR AT Perry (illness) questionable.
With Brown out, the Eagles are in desperate need of a wide receiver other than DeVonta Smith to step in. That player could be Britten Covey, who has caught six passes through two games, but Smith, Saquon Barkley and tight end Dallas Goedert are expected to catch the most passes for Jalen Hurts.
New Orleans will have to battle injuries to get to 3-0. Perry was a full participant in practice Friday, while Harris, Jackson and Hill were limited. Young did not practice for the third straight day.
Chargers: Junior Colson (hamstring) out; QB Justin Herbert (ankle), WR Josh Palmer (elbow/calf), OLB Bud Dupree (illness), S Alohi Gilman (knee) and CB Jasar Taylor (fibula) questionable.
Steelers: G Isaac Seumalo (pectoral muscle), TE MiCole Pruitt (knee) and OT Troy Fautanu (knee) out; QB Russell Wilson (calf) questionable
As previously mentioned, Herbert revealed on Friday that he is currently suffering from a high ankle sprain. Herbert did not practice Friday, was limited on Thursday and did not practice Wednesday. If Herbert is unable to play, backup Easton Stick, who was 0-4 as the team’s starting quarterback in 2023, will start against Pittsburgh.
The Steelers will be replaced by former first-round draft pick Broderick Jones, who was benched for last week’s loss to the Broncos after Fautanou was injured Friday. Rookie wide receiver Roman Wilson is set to make his NFL debut after missing all of the preseason with an ankle injury.
Broncos: OLB Baron Browning (foot) and S JL Skinner (ankle) are out.
Buccaneers: T Luke Goedeke (concussion), DL Kalijah Kansey (calf), S Antoine Winfield Jr. (foot) out; WR Kameron Johnson (ankle), NT Vita Via (knee) questionable; DL William Gholston (knee), DB Josh Hayes (ankle) questionable.
Tampa Bay will need some performances from its reserves on Sunday, including Christian Izien, who is expected to start again in place of Winfield. The former undrafted rookie has played well when called upon, throwing an interception in last week’s win over Detroit and two interceptions in his rookie season (2023).
Panthers: NT Shy Tuttle (foot) questionable, DE A’Shawn Robinson (knee), cornerback Lonnie Johnson (thigh), S Nick Scott (neck) questionable.
Raiders: LB Devine Diablo (oblique/concussion) out, CB DeCamarion Richardson (hamstring) questionable, DE Maxx Crosby (ankle), DE Tyree Wilson (knee), DT Christian Wilkins (knee) questionable.
Three players who were questionable for Carolina were limited Friday, and Raiders coach Antonio Pierce said he expected Crosby to play despite being limited during practice this week.
Dolphins: WR Grant DuBose (shoulder) out, RB Raheem Mostert (chest), WR Malik Washington (quadriceps) questionable
Seahawks: LB Uchenna Nwosu (knee) out, LB Jerome Baker (hamstring), RB Kenneth Walker III (oblique), T George Fant (knee) questionable, S Kevon Wallace (shoulder), TE Pharaoh Brown (foot), LB Boi Maffe (knee), WR Laviska Chennault Jr. (foot) questionable.
A lengthy injury report for Seattle. With Walker questionable, Zach Charbonnet is expected to continue to get the majority of the carries for Seattle. With Mostert questionable for Miami, Devon Achan will take the job. Jeff Wilson should also see some playing time after averaging 5.2 yards per carry in Week 2 against Buffalo.
Ravens: G Malaesa Lauma’eva (personal injury) out; WR Deonte Harty (calf), LB David O’Habo (quadriceps), CB Nate Wiggins (neck/concussion) questionable.
Cowboys: WR Jalen Brooks (ankle), DT Mazie Smith (back), TE John Stevens Jr. (hamstring) questionable.
Harty and Ojabo were full participants in Friday’s practice, but Wiggins was limited for a second straight day. As expected, Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and cornerback Trevon Diggs (foot) were available after being placed on the injured list this week. All Cowboys players who were questionable were limited for Friday’s practice.
49ers: WR Deebo Samuel (calf), TE George Kittle (hamstring) out; CB Charvarius Ward (hamstring/knee), DE Nick Bosa (ribs) questionable
Rams: TE Davis Allen (back), WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) out; K Joshua Carty (groin), CB Kobe Durant (toe) and NT Bobby Brown III (ankle) questionable.
With Samuel and Kittle out, the 49ers will need big plays from Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings, who have combined to catch 13 of San Francisco’s 19 passes in San Francisco’s first two games. Tight end Eric Saubert also could be expected to catch more passes if Kittle is unavailable.
The Rams, the NFL’s most injury-riddled team, will have to rely more on wide receivers Tyler Johnson, Demarcus Robinson and Tutu Atwell and tight end Colby Parkinson without Kupp in the lineup. Los Angeles also needs more help from its running game, with Kyren Williams averaging just 2.5 yards per carry.
Lions: S Ifetu Melifonwu (ankle), CB Ennis Rakestraw Jr. (hamstring) out, LB Alex Anzalone (concussion), CB Terrion Arnold (illness), G Graham Glasgow (knee) and WR Isaiah Williams (abdomen) questionable.
Cardinals: DT Dante Stills (shoulder), OT Kelvin Beacham (hamstring), WR Greg Dortch (hamstring) questionable.
Detroit’s questionable players were limited on Friday. Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (quadriceps) was on injured reserve this week but is no longer on the injured list. In Arizona, Beacham started the week without being placed on the injured list and therefore did not practice Friday. If the veteran Beacham is unable to play, Jackson Barton, who was recently promoted from the practice squad, will likely take his place.

Falcons: None
It was a rare game with zero injuries.
Jaguars vs. Bills (-5) (Monday night)
Jaguars: TE Evan Engram (hamstring) out; RB Tank Bigsby (shoulder), DB Darnell Savage (quadriceps), WR Tim Jones (foot) questionable. Bills: LB Terrell Bernard (pectoral muscle), CB Taron Johnson (forearm) out.
Engram will sit out this week after missing all of practice with a hamstring injury, while Bigsby, Savage and Jones all participated on a limited basis in Saturday’s practice.
There were no surprises on the Bills’ injury report, with both Bernard and Johnson sidelined after not practicing all week, and quarterback Josh Allen still listed on the injury report with a left hand injury but was day-to-day.
Commanders: DE Clelin Ferrell (knee) out; CB Emmanuel Forbes (thumb) questionable. Bengals: TE Tanner Hudson (knee), DT Sheldon Rankins (hamstring) out; DT B.J. Hill (hamstring) questionable; S Vonn Bell (back), DT Kris Jenkins Jr. (thumb) questionable.
Washington will be without sack leader Ferrell, who is out with a knee injury. In fact, Ferrell is the only coach with a sack this year. Surprisingly, Forbes is questionable with a thumb injury. Coach Dan Quinn said he will wait until Monday to make a final decision, but he could play as soon as next week.
The big news for the Bengals is that wide receiver Tee Higgins was not listed on the final injury report and will make his 2024 debut after missing the first two games with a hamstring injury. Tight end Mike Gesicki was also not given a game designation after being limited by a calf injury earlier this week. Jenkins Jr. (thumb) played with a bandage on his hand and the team will monitor his status, according to The Athletic.
