The following article is brought to you by our partners at EA SPORTS.

Hello everyone. Welcome to EA SPORTS FC™ 25 Switch Pitch Notes! I’m Kush Mathur, an assistant producer on the FC team. We’re excited to outline some of the key new features and updates coming to the Nintendo Switch™ system with EA SPORTS FC™ 25.

Touchscreen zoom and touchscreen navigation

When playing the game in handheld mode, you can use the pinch-to-zoom technique to manipulate the screen and zoom in and out.

Touch the screen with two fingers.

To zoom in, touch and lift your finger on the screen.

To zoom out, touch and hold your finger closer to the screen.

When you release the screen, the zoom % will remain at the current level for 5 seconds, then return to the default of 100%.

You can also navigate through menus and set match instructions simply by using touchscreen support. Simply tap on any interactive button or element in the game to make your selection.

Touchscreen support does not apply to gameplay. Both options can be turned on or off by going to the Accessibility menu in Game Settings.

Multiplayer with one Joy-Con™ controller

Split Joy-Con support lets you play multiplayer co-op or 1v1 with your friends using one set of Joy-Con controllers.

This feature can be enabled by pressing the Y button on the Side Selection screen.

From here, you can change controllers by pressing the SL and SR buttons on each Joy-Con at the same time.

Once you’ve decided on your desired settings, press Ready on each Joy-Con to return to the game.

local season

Local Season is a unique mode on Nintendo Switch that allows you to play with other Nintendo Switch players when you are close to each other (about 30 feet or so).

Relying solely on your system’s built-in Wi-Fi, you can play without a network connection, making it the perfect way to enjoy EA SPORTS FC 25 with friends while traveling or in remote locations . Network availability is limited.

To access this mode, go to “Local Season” from the main menu and select “Enter Season” at the same time as the other system.

Once matchmaking occurs, make your selections and proceed to gameplay.

Thank you for taking a look at the Nintendo Switch pitch notes. We’re excited to share with you some of the changes available for the Nintendo Switch system. We look forward to experiencing all the other new changes and additions the game has to offer. Learn more about FC 25 innovations on Nintendo Switch.
