Workforce Solutions of North Central Pennsylvania, a workforce development commission serving Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Jefferson, McKean, and Potter counties, creates career opportunities for job seekers of all ages. We are pleased to announce a new initiative aimed at increasing

Workforce Solutions is looking for free employers in all industries who are interested in introducing their company and career path.

“In today’s job market, young people are not just looking for a job, they are looking for a clear path to future opportunities,” said Executive Director Pam Streich.

“Our goal is to develop innovative web applications that help students, job seekers, and individuals understand long-term career growth and advancement within participating employers in our six-county region. It is to do.

“This application visually represents the career ladder within a company, highlighting entry-level positions and career advancement possibilities.”

Participating employers will work with Workforce Solutions staff and Loretta Liner, an experienced career pathway mapping consultant, to identify key career entry points, document position flow, and outline required job responsibilities. , specify education or training requirements and potential salary ranges.

The Career Pathways Mapping project not only serves as a valuable resource for students and job seekers, but also provides participating companies with insight into their hiring needs and succession planning.

Additionally, participating in this community-focused initiative increases visibility and awareness for local employers.

“By learning about our region’s employers and the career opportunities that exist in our backyard, we expand the possibilities for career growth for individuals in our region. Either we keep our people here or we bring them back to the North Central Workforce Development Area,” said Donna Hottel, strategic planning and project manager for Workforce Solutions.
